Polycase® Adds New Line of Extruded Aluminum PCB Enclosures in 17 Functional Sizes

Sept 11, 2017 – Avon, OH - Polycase, a US manufacturer of electronic enclosures, has added a new series of extruded aluminum enclosures for PCBs. The EX Series aluminum enclosures are designed to allow a standard 0.063” PCB to slide into place with removable end caps that can easily be modified for cables, connectors and switches. These all-metal enclosures provide the ideal framework for valuable electronics and instrumentation.

The EX Series is available in 17 sizes ranging from 1.93” x 2.70” up to 8.23” x 6.99”.  Continuous gaskets that sit between the end caps and body provide IP66 protection from dust and water. The aluminum material also provides a degree of EMI/ RFI protection. The enclosures can be used free-standing or surface mounted with an optional flange kit.  Recommended applications include data systems and network technology, safety engineering, measurement and control technology, and much more.
