Additional Sizes of Hinged NEMA 4X Plastic Enclosures from Polycase®

March 8, 2017 – Avon, OH – Polycase has added 2 new hinged NEMA 4X enclosures sizes to their product line. The WQ-73 and WH-14 enclosures meet NEMA 4X requirements and are UL Listed. They are molded from impact-resistant polycarbonate which offers an economical alternative to metal enclosures for electronics.

The WQ Series WQ -73 is 17.72 x 13.78 x 6.30 inches and is ideal for applications in network communications, alternative energy, or industrial automation. The hinged cover with stainless steel latches allows for easy access to internal components. The WQ Series base is fiberglass reinforced for extra durability.

The WH Series WH-14 is 7.71 x 7.71 x 5.90 inches and has been designed to protect components in harsh environments. The WH Series features an all-plastic hinge and latch design and offers a more economical ABS version for indoor use.

Optional accessories for both of the new hinged NEMA enclosures include mounting plates and a variety of cable management and venting solutions.
